ENGAGED!

Yes…that is right!  Paul and I are engaged!  It was perfect and a complete surprise!  We are in San Francisco because he has a work conference and I came along because my best friend and her husband live here!  I am staying with them and so Paul came over after work for dinner.  We went for a picnic right by the ocean and afterwards we went for a walk.  Leah and Jared separated from us but I was not sure why.  Then Paul walked down to a little space off the trail that overlooked the bay.  At first, I would not go down with him because I thought that I was going to slip.  Finally, he convinced me and we stood there looking at the ocean.  Then he said something about getting his knee dirty and I was not sure what he was talking about.  Then I thought that he was just messing around was was pretending to propose…then I realized that he was serious and I was (and still am so excited)!!!!  Of course I said yes!  He did a perfect job and Leah and Jared helped pick the perfect spot!  I love you Paul!

Life is exciting!

Once again, it has been a long time since I posted.  Sometimes I forget that I have a blog.  Anyways, in the time that I have not written there has been a lot that has happened in life.  I got more hours at work which menas that I can stay at FPU and not look for another job (yay!).  The camp that I was running for the summer ended last week.  It was a wonderful experience and God did some amazing things!  Paul PASSED the 2nd of his 4 CPA tests!  He is 2 for 2 at this point and has already taken the 3 test, which means that we are waiting for that score.  He is doing such a great job.  I know that it is so hard to just work and then study all the time but it is paying off and soon he will be done!  Wonderful job Paul!  And…there are other things.  My best friend’s baby is turning 1!  Another best friend is pregnant and another is getting married!  This is a busy time of time but it is full of wonder, excitment and blessings!  I am excited to see what the days ahead will bring!

My hair…

Over the past few months, I have been wanting to grow my hair long.  So…last time I went to my hairdresser, I just trimmed it.  That was about a month ago.  Last weekend, Paul and I went to the beach…it made my hair crazy!  Yesterday, I chopped it off…it is so much better!  I guess I will never have long hair!

My Weekend!

Paul and I just got home from a very busy weekend and I am tired! It was a wonderful weekend filled with friends and family! It started out with Jameson and Sarah’s wedding on Friday night. They are an incredible couple and it was a privilege to be a part of their day! It was also a wonderful time to see and catch up with friends!

We then got up early Saturday morning and left for Oceanside and Los Alamitos to visit both sets of my grandparents. We decided to spend some time for just the two of us before we met up with family and so we stopped in Santa Monica with the hopes of going to the pier. However, we went the wrong way and ended up walking through Venice Beach. I had never been there before and it was a very interesting experience. Although, it was not where we attended to go, we had a good time being with each other and people watching. We then stopped at South Coast Mall…the biggest mall ever…and checked out H&M!

I am very fortunate to have both sets of grandparents alive and healthy. Although we had a limited amount of time with them, it was great to see them. I was reminded of what a blessing each one of them are. It was fun to talk and laugh with them and for Paul to get to know them more!

So…now I am home and tired after a long weekend but the tiredness is worth it! Now…a week long summer school class!

Where should I start?

Well. Hi! I finally set up a blog…well actually it was Paul. The funny thing is that before I had this, I always thought “that is really interesting, if I had a blog, I could write about it!” However, I am sure that soon I will have something important to share and then I can write about it!
